Our lesson focus is on developing a safe and effective English rider in dressage and hunter/jumper disciplines. We have safe, friendly and talented ponies and horses for the academy students from beginner to advanced show competitors.
We also proudly offer part boarding, leasing and ship-in opportunities for riders looking to expand their skills.
Lessons are offered for small groups, semi-private and private based on appropriate skill levels and time availability.
Structured lessons are available for clients at Ridgedale Equestrian in Grimsby, and throughout the Niagara Region on your own horses. We offer private, semi private and group lesson settings on a regular basis.
These regular lessons are grouped based on horse and rider skill levels and availability.
Available for riders looking for a change.
Assessment lessons are for trying out our coaching methods or trying out a potential horse for purchase/lease/part-board.
These sessions are great for a rider that may not be looking to make a full commitment to a regular program, but are interested in seeing if what we have to offer can help attain specific riding goals.
Feeling like you are at a plateau in your riding lessons? Are you working harder than you feel your horse is?
Paisley is available to give you a second eye and offer suggestions to supplement your current program.
This program is geared toward first time equestrians and is available for new riders starting at the age of 5.
Riders are started in a private lesson format so they can be properly introduced to handling, grooming and tacking up their equine partner. Proper care for the horse is part of the lesson format.
As each academy student develops their skills, more time will be allotted for riding and the students will be expected to prepare their horse for the lesson time, and properly care for the horse after the allotted lesson time.
Part boarding is available for novice to advanced level riders. Part boarding allow riders to increase their time in the saddle while not making the full plunge into ownership.
Opportunities are available for riders looking to commit to working on skills between lessons and wanting to further their experience by participating in shows and events.
Flexibility is offered based on the amount of days our students are able to participate in this program. Some riders are looking to reserve the same horse for their lessons, while others are looking at 2 to 4 extra rides a week.
This program allows riders that are already in a regular lesson program and are able to commit to furthering their horsemanship and equestrian skills.
As potential horse owners, leases, and part boarders, this program is ideal and helps prepare riders who may be interested in the possibility of a show atmosphere.
